Flowers and colors

So lately I have been trying inventive ways to get the girls to learn colors. One idea I had was to walk around the neighborhood and take pictures of flowers. This allows C especially to practice using her words for her speech therapy. Here are some examples of the pictures we took.

This also led to a great discussion regarding how God made us all different. If God made all these flowers and "clothed" them with such pretty colors, different shapes and different leaves just think about how much detail He put into us. This aloud the girls to see how unique and special they are. I hope this may help others a way to teach colors for their toddlers.
